May 5/Thursday Shanghai to Beijing (B)
Arrive Beijing, the capital of China, our friendly guide will meet and transfer you to Chang An Grand Hotel or New Otani Hotel (5 Star deluxe).
May 6/Friday Beijing (B, L, D)
Full day escorted city tour includes Tiananmen Square, the Ancient Forbidden City, the beautiful
Summer Palace, and the
Temple of Heaven where the Emperors worshipped.
May 7/Saturday Beijing (B, L, D)
Full day escorted excursion to the Badaling
Great Wall and the Changling Exhibition of the Ming Tombs with lunch and dinner
May 8/Sunday Beijing (B)
Free day at leisure for shopping or optional tours
May 9/Monday Beijing to Lhasa (B, L, D)
Take a morning flight to the Holy City of Lhasa with a stopover in Chengdu, upon arrival at Lhasa Gong Gar Airport, You will be greeted by your Tibetan tour guide and drive two hours to Lhasa City. Check into Lhasa Hotel (Former Holiday Inn, 4 star, the best available).
Remainder of the day is at leisure to rest and adjust the high altitude.
May 10/Tuesday Lhasa (B, L, D)
After breakfast, you will begin your exploration to this Holy City. Visit the Potala Palace, where the Dalai Lama used to preside. In the afternoon, visit the Jorkang Temple, which is located at the very center of the Lhasa city. Later you can stroll along the Barkore Street where Tibetan shops present Tibetan medicines, hand-made crafts, etc.
May 11/Wednesday Lhasa (B, L, D)
Today sightseeing includes the Tsepung Monastery, one of the biggest in Tibet. Then you can visit a nearby Tibetan Carpet Factory. In the afternoon, visit Sera Monastery and Norbulingka Temple, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama.
May 12/Thursday Lhasa to Chengdu (B, L, D)
Take a morning flight to Chengdu which is famous for its spicy food, upon arrival, your tour guide will take you to visit the Wangjiang Tower in Wangjianglou Park. Check into Chengdu Jinjiang Hotel (5 star deluxe)
May 13/Friday Chengdu (B, L, D)
Morning tour to visit Panda Breeding and Research Center on the superb of Chengdu, then drive to Sanxindui-over 3600- 4000 years ancient bronze museum which is the most important discovery in China in 1990s.
May 14/Satursday Chengdu to Guangzhou(B)
Free at leisure before transfer to airport and depart Chengdu for Guangzhou. Upon arrival, transfer to New Baiyun Hotel.
May 15/Sunday Guangzhou (B, L)
Sightsee historical attractions on a city tour of this Pearl River city, including Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and the Chen Clan Temple.
May 16/Monday Guangzhou to Hong Kong (B)
Transfer to train station and take an express train to Hong Kong, upon arrival, check into Miramar Hotel located in the center of Kowloon.
May 17/Tuesday Hong Kong
Today, your tour of Hong Kong Island passes through Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen's sampan community. Then up to Victoria Peak for spectacular views of the city and its harbor.
May 18/Wednesday Hong Kong
Free day at leisure to explore or shop on Nathan Road
May 19/Thursday Hong Kong to Japan
