Arrive Beijing at 8:30pm via JL789, the capital of China. A friendly English speaking guide will meet you and transfer to your deluxe Kingwing Hotel.
Oct 10/Sunday Beijing B
Free at leisure or take optional tours.
Oct 11/Monday Beijing B, L, D
Today you visit Tiananmen Square, the famous Forbidden City, the
Temple of Heaven where the Qing Emperors worshipped and the beautiful
Summer Palace .
Oct 12/Tuesday Beijing B, L, D
Full day excursion to the
Great Wall of China that now offers a cable car to the summit. Later, on the return, drive along the famed Sacred Way to visit the museum of the Ming Tombs. Enjoy an acrobatic show in the evening.
Oct 13/Wednesday Beijing to Xi'an B, L, D
Fly to Xi'an via CA1209 (9:50am/11:45am), one of the ancient cities in China. Upon arrival, your tour guide will take you to a city tour around this ancient city. Check into to Jianguo Hotel.
Oct 14/Thursday Xi'an B, L, D
Sightseeing will include the Excavations of Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses, one of the grea
test archaeological finds of the century, then visit Hua Qing Imperial Hot Springs and Banpo Neolithic Village.
Oct 15/Friday Xi'an to Guilin B, L, D
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Ancient City Wall and the Forest of Stele. Fly to Guilin via HU7829 (4:00pm/5:35pm). Transfer to Guihu Park Hotel.
Oct 16/Saturday Guilin B, L, D
Embark on a gorgeous cruise on the Li River. Experience the magical beauty of limestone rock formations and farmland comm
only seen in Chinese landscape paintings. At Yangshuo, browse at the free market, then drive back to Guilin.
Oct 17/Sunday Guilin to Hangzhou B, L, D
Transfer to airport and fly to Hangzhou via MU4589 (9:50am/11:30am). Airport reception/transfer to Wanghu Hotel. Free at leisure the rest of the day.
Oct 18/Monday Hangzhou B, L, D
Tour around the beautiful
West Lake , viewing the Three Pool Mirroring the Moon, the Tranquil Fish, your guide will take you up to the mountain to visit the Long Jing (Dragon Well) Tea Plantation and taste Longjing Tea, the best Chinese green tea.
Oct 19/Tuesday Hangzhou to Suzhou B, L, D
In the morning, visit Marshal Yue Fei’s Tomb and Temple, Tiger Spring and the Pagoda of Six Harmonies . Take an afternoon train to Suzhou , check into Bamboo Grove Hotel.
Oct 20/Wednesday Suzhou to Shanghai B, L, D
Visit Suzhou, known as the “Venice of the East? including the
Tiger Hill, Hanshan Monastery, the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Silk Reeling factory and Silk Embroidery Research Institute. Take a late afternoon train to Shanghai, transfer to Shanghai Hotel.
Oct 21/Thursday Shanghai B, L, D
Visit the Yu Garden, the Bund-waterfront, the People’s Square and the Nanpu Bridge. Free to shop the rest of the day.
Oct 22/Friday Shanghai to New York B
Transfer to airport for your return flight to New York at 9:10am via JL796. Arrive home the same day.
